As you know, I've been messaging Marvel's X-office every day for about half a year, asking for Hellion. Today, Jordan White responded to one of my messages.



First off, that was really nice of him to show concern. I really appreciate that. Second, it shows that they haven't blocked my messages, and there's a chance they read them at least sometimes. So my messages for Hellion have not been in vain, and other messages might not be, either.

Hellion is multifaceted. He can still be fertilizer while appearing in multiple books.

If this is true, that's honestly so dope. I've enjoyed Ortega in everything I've seen her in. If the MCU wants a diverse cast of mutants I really hope they pull from multiple generations of X-characters. Not likely, but I can always dream.

I was rewatching the Wolverine and the X-Men animated series recently and was so happy to see some of the New X-Men in animation - I totally forgot Cessily was in Genosha!

On reddit a few days ago someone had a link to the facebook page of one of the writers on the show, where years ago he put up the scripts for the first nine episodes of Season 2 of WATXM. I'll try and see if I can find it again but yeah, I really did enjoy the glimpses we got of Academy X kids in that show....Mercury, Dust, Pixie, Hellion, even DJ was there in a Genosha episode. (I choose to believe it was Yost and Kyle's apology for making him like, the ONE Academy X kid it was impossible to pretend didn't die on the bus. "La la la, I'm gonna just pretend that DJ never got on the bus and is away at home living happily," I'd say. And Yost and Kyle are like "LOL no, that's a delusion, look at him, he's dead, he bled out in Laura Kinney's arms, that kid is goooooone.")

While he didn't had many speaking lines, Hellion actualy had a constant presence in Xavier's future, which is allready a big win for any New X-men kid.

One more reason why i feel we are 14 years overdue to another proper new X-men cartoon show, not just a nostalgia baiting add-on season to a 30 year old one.

Well that sucks. But I'll continue to agree with the sentiment, justice for Wind Dancer!
