From the King in Black battles early on, to his Hellfire Gala election win and fighting alongside the modern era's first, official X-Men team, 2021 saw Shiro Yoshida enter the fray in glorious fashion. It then went on to not only highlight how powerful he is, but the potential he has, with his newfound, selfless sense of being. So, here's hoping Sunfire's trend of ascension continues well into 2022, and beyond!

Before getting the role of Shang-chi, actor Simu Liu wanted to play Sunfire and wrote a multiseason TV pitch for him. I hope it gets made.

Shiro needs to get some love interest - I'll throw one in, Polaris or even Jean Grey adding more suitors or baby daddies. isn't that one of Krakoa's laws, make more mutants?
Plus I wouldn't mind if there was a Synch and Sunfire book.
