I just think it’s kind of crappy that despite him being her core love interest for years and them both sharing the life of being masked heroes, she apparently still won’t open up to him to that level. He’s probably the most kind hearted person she’s ever dated, he deserves it.

Was that relationship developed before? 'Cause if not, it's pretty weird there's suddenly this one character she can't lie to, when generally she never had a problem with lying, or manipulation in general.
