This feels like the kind of excessively and unnecessarily dark content of the mid-2000's.
“Strength is the lot of but a few privileged men; but austere perseverance, harsh and continuous, may be employed by the smallest of us and rarely fails of its purpose, for its silent power grows irresistibly greater with time.” Goethe
As mentioned before there is always the "Oh hey, turns out that was never Moira MacTaggart at all. Everyone got clowned by fake memories and fake duplicate." button, to reset the character back to her positive legacy.
I'm getting reminded to the Ultimate Universe and why i'm not sad about it being gone. The X-men side was a depressing hopeless mess from the start to finish which only got worse.

I wished they’d have used Layla Miller for this whole thing. They could have hid behind the veil of knowing stuff or saving the future and they wouldn’t have had to completely upend Moira as a character
What an amazingly lazy way to wrap up the Moira thread.
How have they forgotten that her son is one of the 5?
Who honestly believes that this story won't end with Moira dead and buried, with virtually no one even knowing that she was alive in the first place?
Moira, your son's a god. Just call him up and ask him to erase your cancer.
