I think they're pretty much on the DickxBabs level of running into each other, still being pretty into each other, but never quite able to get together until certain runs and their chemistry just radiates off the panels.

TBH, Taylor's version of the Dick and Babs relationship is the first version that I've ever found really palpable as well. Prior to Taylor's run, I was a Dick and Kory guy all the way. At the time, I always felt that Babs probably would've made a better match with Ted Kord.

Which for me...I appreciated his intentions but the execution left a lot to be desired. But I'm used to that with King.

I'm grateful for the approach, quite frankly. He's finally been able to show me that the relationship has some actual meat to it.

Oh, I'm still a Dick and Kory guy but I was a fan of Dick and Babs from back in the Dixon days .

I think the meat was already there, King just put it in focus for his run. But maybe too much so.

It's been fun, but it's got to grow beyond the f*ck buddy stage eventually. We're getting a little bit of a taste of how complex it could get with Babs telling Nightmite she didn't want marriage, but I don't feel like that's where Taylor intends to tow the line. I think that's Babs' arc for the next half of the run.
