I am trying to collect as many pre-Crisis Barry stories as I can. Particularly the 70s through the 80s up to the end of his run. I've been tracking down single issues but I'm bummed that there aren't a lot of trades or hardcovers of this stuff. I think it is an absolutely epic series, there are some hokey parts but it is wildly expressive and imaginative and gets really dark at certain points. I wish I had been exposed to it when I was younger. Anyway, if anyone has some tips for getting this complete series would love to know

I've been unable to keep up with comics for a while due to various personal issues (mostly just been keeping up as best as I can by visiting these forums), but...is Barry appearing anywhere currently or sometime soon?
While looking back at old Barry stories I've been considering what would be good material for a media adaptation that isn't inspired by Flashpoint/Dead mom stuff.
I'm particularly enjoying this Flash story in #235-#237 where Thawne infects Iris with a disease that will trigger Barry's speed to destroy the world if he comes into contact with her. Dr Fate, Green Lantern, and Jay Garrick are all a part of it. Haven't finished yet but that's one example of a good solo story that interacts with the wider DC mythology but isn't heavily reliant on it and doesn't produce any serious ramifications for the greater canon.

I think 'Flash of Two Worlds' is ideal for an adaptation as well. Just up the stakes.
