Agreed. Rereading that X-Men run again, I find that I'm not too concerned with the story. Yes, there are the Acolytes and Asteroid M and what have you. But the art is the most memorable part. In addition to Magneto, really love this scene featuring Psylocke and Magneto:

"I am a man of peace."

"A man of peace...who fights like ten tigers."

All of the Union Jack stuff reminds me of the miniseries by Ben Raab and John Cassaday. Underrated classic:

"I am a man of peace."

"A man of peace...who fights like ten tigers."

I know, right?! Never thought anything from John Cassaday could ever be considered underrated.

The X-Men / Alpha Flight mini by the same creative team also comes to mind.

I know, right?! Personally, I've always liked Assault Team: "BRAVO"

Yep, love this moment too! Honestly, almost every page from this issue is an awesome Marvel moment. Such a great issue with absolutely incredible art on every page.

Indeed. Cassaday would've been great on an Alpha Flight ongoing series...

Sometimes you have to outcrazy the crazies:

"I am a man of peace."

"A man of peace...who fights like ten tigers."

Still use this scene as the standard for what Carnage can do. Also, the atmosphere gets me. Spider-Man comes to this creepy orphanage to deal with a monster that is even scarier than Venom:

"I am a man of peace."

"A man of peace...who fights like ten tigers."
