You know what DC could really use more of right now? Bat-books.

Seriously, the lack of long-term thinking here is kind of staggering. If you flood the market with books selling only one flavor of DC, you end up diluting the brand and alienating the readers who love the 90% of the DCU that isn't Bat-centric.

It's getting very repetitive, but you're right. At this point, unless WB accidentally sells the Batman film rights to a competing studio and they decide they don't want to give them free publicity and characters to use, I don't see DC slowing down with their Batman publications. WHich is tiresome, because they get endlessly repetitive.

Looking at sales numbers, no wonder they keep on making so many Batman titles. In terms of sales, high in the top are mainly Batman and related characters. So the problem is that the audience for the most part is interested in him first of all. Even if the audience gets tired of Batman, it will likely mean that the last pillar will collapse.
About Taylor announcement, I'm betting it's DCeased 3.

Yes it’s DCeased 3 and yes as someone who loves the DCeased series I will be reading this. Love the idea of zombie new gods when we have a cure for the virus and the green lanterns are getting involved.
