    That's a good guess.

I guess new generation will use different name for their team.
Hopefully this means that the The Titans get to be the main superhero team, however while there may not be a Justice League book I would not be surprised if there is a replacement called New Justice or something along those lines.

I feel like there was going to be a new Trinity it will more likely be Yara, Jon and Jackson.

Also given that Jace is now the "Batman of New York" don't be surprised in Tim the main Batman in Gotham.

Probably it's not going to the same roster from Future State, but more like mash-up between different generations. For example, I think it's safe bet that Dick probably is going to be a leader, and it perfectly ties with Taylor words about making him A-lister. Also Wally will be there as well.

Leaving aside the likely set-up for a Future State-esque lineup... well, on the "funeral" cover alone, you have a whole bunch of ex-Leaguers who are not currently on any other team (Wally, all the Green Lanterns, Black Adam, Dr Light, Blue Beetle [Ted], Booster Gold,... is Supergirl being on the JL for a while back in continuity? I forget.). It gets a bit silly to claim that all the Leaguers are dead or whatever, the only ones who can defend the Earth are a bunch of newbies.

Replacing the new Batman with the new Aquaman in the Trinity seems more likely to you? Honestly, it should just be Red X. Give the kid something to do.

I feel like Jackson, Jon and Yara are the legacy characters that DC is pushing right now and and John Ridley is being allowed to tell more self contained stories with Jace.

Yeah I would expect it to be something like Jo, Jon, Yara, and Jace but with Jackson and Wally/maybe some others rounding it out.

I hope it's not all legacy members. The obsession with adhering to certain members and their families have been dragging down the League since the New 52.

Best case scenario, a new League is formed with characters who aren't purely nextgen versions of the "Big 7" or whatever (one of the few good things about Bendis's run was a backup League featuring the likes of Plastic Man, Firestorm, Booster Gold, Captain Atom, Vixen, and Blue Devil showing up) and they carry the book into a big event, at which time a new League emerges that brings back some of the Big 7 and retains some of the new team, so it's an actual new and different mix of characters going forward.

Which Red X? There are three of them. Dick was the first, but we don't know who # 2 and #3(current one) are.

Well, I mean the immediately pre-N52 Justice League didn't have the big seven. It just had as members... Supergirl, Dick Grayson, Donna Troy, Jade, Jesse Quick, an alien (Mikaal Tomas) and one other guy. Notice the pattern?

I feel like I would care more about this if I felt emotionally invested in the League right now...but I really don't, so it just feels like a thing they're doing to clean off the board for a bit.

I think the real question is how this is going to work from a continuity standpoint and how much this might effect other books considering we have characters with solo's, some very recent, and status quo changes.

Honestly, comparing this to the current Bendis League...feels kind of similar to me for some reason.

    Justice League finisheson issue 75.
    Bendis finishes on issue 74.
So the death of the Justice League will not be because Zattana will go crazy because her powers, at least.
    It was close.

I'll certainly give you Supergirl, Dick, and Donna. But even if there was a pattern, Jade, Jesse, and especially Mikaal are pretty removed from the "Hal Jordan-Barry Allen-J'onn J'onz" immediate legacies (the first two being little more than tangential co-opts) that it didn't feel like it would have replacing those three with, say, Impulse, Jessica Cruz, or Miss Martian.

And to try to cash in on the SS: Kill The Justice League game. We "suddenly" got a new Sandman book and now this? lol
