Lazarus Planet is the new event, spinning out of Batman vs Robin, kicks off in January.
For when my rants on the forums just aren’t enough: https://thevindicativevordan.tumblr.com/
So the new announcement is Lazarus Planet, spinning out of Batman vs Robin and written by Mark Waid. It will be multiple one-shots beginning in January and ending in February.
It will star Batman, Damian, Powergirl, Monkey Prince, Cyborg, Poison Ivy, and etc.

"It's fun and it's cool, so that's all that matters. It's what comics are for, Duh."
Words to live by.
Looks interesting, a bunch of one shots seems a little odd though.
(edit: big spoilers in the dc blog that is linked)
Waid and Yang writing a story together seems like a recipe for success.
Other thoughts:
- Power Girl ends up possessed by Lilith/Omen?
- Raven has siblings now? I guess that saves her from dealing with Trigon for the umpteenth time. Maybe.
- Dreamer is now in an event, to emphasize she's becoming a bigger deal.
- Mercy is getting her cybernetic upgrade, I assume.
- Batman becomes Dr. Fate? Jon becomes Superman Blue?
- Red Canary is there for...reasons. Even though we know barely anything about her.
- I hope Cyborg gets a redesign out of this. He desperately needs one.
- Which Question is in Gotham? Probably Montoya I guess. It feels like DC keeps forgetting Vic Sage is alive.
- New hero named City Boy and we're getting a new Firestorm?
He's getting his helmet in Batman vs Robin, judging by one of covers. It seems like he's going to use it for a while, maybe to protect himself from being transformed.Batman becomes Dr. Fate?
Seems interesting. Glad to see some characters that fell in limbo back (like Omen).
Yes, Raven does have siblings. Six pre-Flashpoint and three different ones in New 52, so this is presumably the latter set returning.

I guess, Justice League, Titans and Green Lantern titles will be revealed by Lee tomorrow.
And Superman/Batman plans will be revealed this weekend at their panels, obviously.
