Another book where King is going to make everyone depressed and suicidal. Great.
double post
"Has Sariel summoned you here, Azrael? Have you come to witness the miracle of your brethren arriving on Earth?"
"I WILL MIX THE ASHES OF YOUR BONES WITH SALT AND USE THEM TO ENSURE THE EARTH THE TEMPLARS TILLED NEVER BEARS FRUIT AGAIN!"
"*sigh* I hoped it was for the miracle."
Dan Watters' Azrael was incredible, a constant delight and perhaps too good for this world (but not the Forth). For the love of St. Dumas, DC, give us more!!!
"It's fun and it's cool, so that's all that matters. It's what comics are for, Duh."

I like tom king
Not all his work but theres some great and amazing stuff
The threads will be a good read with how upset everyone will get, haha.
I guess it all depends if you think making characters dark equals new and interesting. Feels kind of trite at this point in my opinion, but I'm not going to buy the book so I am mostly poking fun at the King writing style meme.

Interesting that both Titans and Suicide Squad are ending after a big crossover event. Suspicions and Rumors shall rise with that.
Also two months without a green lantern book smells of cancellation to me.
My theory...post Dark Crisis relaunches

As with every damn thing about Tom King, I've of two minds about this:
1) "Hey, a story seemingly involving all the freakin' characters from the First Issue Special series. Nice idea! I hope he includes the original Outsiders!"
2) "Oh dear, it looks like King's going to ignore every previously established character trait of all of these characters... again."
Yeah, yeah, I know... Black Label. But still, this trend of using existing characters as blank-slate actors for whatever story you want to tell is, to put it mildly, annoying.
I eagerly await Tom King's take on Othello, starring Black Lightning, Halo, and Bat-Mite as Iago.
