The plans to make Superman LGBTQ was agreed while Didio was in charge.
DC put out their 1st Pride celebration title under Didio.

The 1st and only DC comic to feature 2 male heroes having sex was published under Didio. Midnighter and Apollo having sex on their kitchen table.

There are more example. this using Didio as a scape goat and catch all for everything bad has to stop.

I don't tell contrary. Just currently DC put more effort than before.

My bad if someone already mentioned this somewhere, but Joshua Williamson did a new interview on the comics conspiracy podcast about dark crisis. One of the things I found interesting was him saying he thinks the reason people think there is too many bat books is because so many family group titles like green lantern and teen titans have shrunken to only 1 book. He says DC is aware of that and a lot of it is because of layovers due to COVID around when infinite frontier was starting and they are getting to be in a better place and the line should reflect that next year.


That said, and this is just my own opinion now, I do hope the merger with Discovery doesn’t affect anything on that front.

I think most people assume it was because of lack of faith/sales, but I wasn't expecting it to be COVID related.

The vast majority of the new titles they announce are still Batman related books, so I'm not sure whether to buy the layovers/Covid reasoning. And it's still March, if their "plans" for more family group titles can't be revealed until next year, what does that really say.

Hope they're better organized by 2023 then, something that should've already been the case with Infinite Frontier. And I'm not sure how that disputes the first part of my comment when Dark Crisis, Covid or layovers clearly doesn't stop them from greenlighting more Bat books all the time.

Yeah. There should be four Super books (Action, Superman, Supergirl and Superboy, which can star Clark, Jon, Kara and Conner respectively), two Green Lantern books, three Wonder Woman books, two Teen Titans books, two Justice League books, two Flash books. Not 15 Bat books!
