I've seen more teasers from Flashpoint Beyond than Dark Crysis. Weird

I'm guessing it's just because Flashpoint Beyond starts earlier than Dark Crisis and Johns is a bigger name than Williamson.

It seems DC are really trying to promote this book and are overshipping it, giving it an extra discount to stores and making the books returnable:

DC already tried the overship and give an extra discount for Aquamen, but at least in that case, it didn't seem to go too well as the book appears to be canceled.

I'll try not to get my hopes up for a JSA relaunch so I'm not disappointed yet again.
At this point, even if they do it, they'll have Thomas Wayne as the lead lol

Yeah, better not have high hopes. DC comics would rather go bankrupt than bring the JSA.

So looks like Aquamen was supposed to be another mini, but I guess looking at terrible sales for Becoming, Manta and Green Arrow/Aquaman DC decided to launch it as an "ongoing". But sales weren't much, if at all, better so it is ending as well.

I wonder how long Ram V will be on the book. Feels like after Tynion no one sticks around on 'Tec for that long.

Makes me wonder if they'll hold off on a new book until around Aquaman 2 comes out. Otherwise Jackson will just pop up in guest appearances.

Finally, Johns hints that the fallout of Flashpoint Beyond will lead to a new wave of DC titles, some of which will build on this revamped approach to time and time travel.

"There will be books and stories that spin out of this into the greater DC Universe, some of them featuring characters that haven't been at the forefront for quite a while that I'm excited to see," Johns teases. "But it'll do it in a very focused way on this side of history and time. And that's something I've always loved with DC Universe is the vast history of it going back to the '40s with the original to Justice Society and all the way to the future with the Legion of Super Heroes. But it is a storyline that is going to explore hopefully a different facet of the DCU that we haven't seen for a while."


No wonder DC has been promoting the book extra hard..

That sure sounds like Legion and JSA will spin out of this but I won’t get my hopes up for now

But the story you linked to makes it sound more like the JSA is more name-only for the title ("Black Adam–The Justice Society Files: Hawkman") with maybe some (flashback?) panels showing JSA members other than just Hawkman.

I guess we'll have to see if/when/who else from the JSA gets one-shot related to this.
