To be perfectly fair, that's the writers' fault since he's a character whose presentation does not match up to the hype of his narrative. Like, at all. It's a rare case where the adaptation is presented as more powerful than the source material. So, because of that, we can only talk about his fashion sense because he has almost no feats to speak of.
