X-Men Vote begins tomorrow (1/10/22)

This is a dumb question, but does anyone know how to vote on desktop? I could vote on mobile, but I didn't see the option on my laptop. It just said "vote now" and I could click on characters' portraits and bios, but I couldn't actually submit a vote.

I voted Avalanche. Nice to see him getting at least a little bit of attention, although he's not a character I'd actually expect to see wanting to join the team. Interesting that they also pulled Micromax out of the mothballs and dusted him off. I'm guessing it'll probably go to Monet, but I'm cool with that, she's a great character.

Oh good choices, the candidats are varieted. I will hesite to vote between Surge (It's a long time we don't see her) and Monet. But in the logic, i will say Monet has the more chance to be elected

Voting for Micromax becuase my love of Alan Davis Excalibur run extends to the least developed not quite team members...

It's a really nice selection of characters this time.

Only really would be dissapointed if Armor won - I feel she gets more play as a Whedon creation than better characters from her generation of students. I mean Surge/Gentle & Bling! are literally right there...

Also gotta side eye a bit at the notion that no one's been interested in the Academy X/New X-Men kids when we've had writers talking about how they pitched books with those characters and got a "No thanks" from the X-Office.

LITERALLY he needs to stop lying. There's a whole twitter thread somewhere that has Kris Anka's new designs for a pitched New X-Men book that got rejected.

Also not him being like, "I hope I didn't split up the New X-Men vote, I just wanted to give them a chance." Like sir you know you split up the vote by putting four of them on here (I know Armor only half counts) when you can't even put them on regular team books.

Wow, usually these sorts of things are hard for me, but it was Bling! at first sight, and, upon reflection, still Bling! She's a capable fighter with a decent defense, decent ranged utility (so, unlike Wolverine, she doesn't have to be *thrown* at the distant or flying target), doesn't overlap any current members (like Rogue, Jean or Shiro) and a dash of LGBT representation.

I like Monet, but on a team with Rogue and Jean, there's already enough people sipping from the 'flying powerhouse' and 'telepath' milkshakes, and her new ability to change into claw-monster just puts her right there playing second fiddle to Wolverine, so this would very much not be the team for her, IMO.

About the only reason I'd want Monet on this team is to see her make a play for Everett, and Laura get all snarly about it. But save that sort of drama for the WB.

Gorgon's the only other one who really intrigues me there, or maybe Avalanche, but, again, this doesn't really seem like the best place for either of them (and when I see Avalanche again, I want to see him on a team with Pyro!).

Bling! won't win, but I shall cast my vote into the void, defiant.

I won't mind if Surge manages to eke out a victory. A zappy speedster (and some Academy X rep!) is welcome, distinct and fun, and hey, *two* Asians on the team, makes it feel less like either of them are there to be the token!
