X-Men Vote begins tomorrow (1/10/22)

Here we go again! Gambit on the main book (with Rogue) is my #1 priority, but I don't think a heavy hitter like him would be on the vote. Unless there's more than one heavy hitter on there. Maybe Beast, plus a new direction for him? I don't know how many votes he'd get in his current persona though.

For more underappreciated gems, last time Marrow got my vote. I'd enjoy Dazzler or Longshot.

I am sure that Marvel won`t give even an option to vote for Gambit so we won`t have a chance to save him from Tini`s writing.

I want to vote for Surge, because I don't even remember the last time she has been something more than a background character.

Voted Gorgon. After serving as a captain and making that sacrifice in X of Swords his name recognition on Krakoa is much higher than anyone else on that list. Having a former villain on the team in general creates more interesting dynamics than teams that are 100% Sympatico, and the whole idea of the resurrections gone wrong hasn't been explored yet,. Admittedly him not being the exact same person who killed so many of the White Sword's forces could be a reason for Krakoans not to vote for him, but he's the one that makes the most sense to me and has the most story potential given they're still on Krakoa.

I want to vote for Siryn because her powers stand out as the most different from anything currently on X-men, same reason i want to vote for Avalanche and micromax. Micromax can only shrink to one inch so he's not taking anyone to the microverse so that scratches him adding to the story. I can't see anywhere else Gorgon's changes may be explored but here and the rest are pretty redundant. Firestar/Shiro, super strength you already have rogue, when it comes to shielding you have polaris and jean so that takes out nezhno, armor, and monet for me but someone could be leaving the team but who knows. So i guess i'm stuck between Avalanche and Gorgon.

edit: in the end i'm going with avalanche, i want to see Gorgon new personality but from what we did see i don't see what he offers that x-23 doesn't whereas avalanche just has a lot there to explore.

I voted for Surge for the same reason. Though I strongly suspect that Armor or Monet will win due to her exposure in bigger titles in Whedon's AXM and House of X respectively.

I think the most likely winners are Siryn, Monet, and possibly Armor. I voted for Bling! because of the vague possibility it could allow Mercury to steal a few guest appearances.

I would be incredibly amused if Micromax somehow won.
