Ant-Man next week is the first original Hank Pym content in... what, like 5 years? More? Last time I remember seeing an un-Ultroned Hank was a flashback issue in Spencer's Ant-Man.
    Wanna make somethin' of it?

Most people probably assume all the money came from Janet.

Thanks for posting the two Hornet "Hives", K7P5V!

It was great to see them both and how closely the newer scene so resembled the original one.

I’m totally pumped for this. Can’t wait to see flashback to the Tales to Astonish days.

I think the mansion was bought with Jan's money/inheritance. In the old TTA, Hank had at some point a simple house in the suburbs, which he probably always kept or re-bought at some point. Remember when he first experimented with growing big and busted through the roof of his house? :-) That's probably the house we see in Nadia's book.

I always got the feeling he indeed was a self-made millionaire, but a bit by sheer luck. I don't see him as a big savvy businessman. And the idea of comics Hank having a company and being CEO is just so silly to me. Doesn't fit with the character at all.

I know, right?! It made another appearance, though retroactively...

Thanks again for posting this newest look, K7P5V!

What was this story about? Why are they in the hive? Why is YJ talking about Hank like it is someone else?

LOL! That image is from Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes II (2007). Yet another modern-day retelling of The Avengers.

The sixth issue retells the events of Avengers #59 & #60
(but be warned, there's some retroactive shenanigans going on. So, your mileage may vary):
