    Default Today marks the 20th Anniversary of Sam Raimi's Spider-Man Trilogy





    Directed by Sam Raimi, Composed by Danny Elfman, Starring Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Kristen Dunst as Mary Jane Watson, Williem Dafoe as Norman Osborn/Green Goblin, J.K. Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson, etc.

    Spider-Man(2002) is the film released in May 3rd, 2002, 20 years from now, that based on Spider-Man. It was followed by two sequels and considered the one of the first adaptation for Spider-Man in the big screen.

    The trilogy's critical and commercial success, along with X-men Film series and Blade Film series, has considered kickstarting the superhero film boom back in early 2000s and impacted the global recognition of Spider-Man Franchise.

    my first movie in the theaters will always have a soft spot for it but i cant ignore the similarities each film have with one another as well

    One of my first ones, as well. Still a very good movie, I think, and it would lead the way for many other franchises.

    First movie I ever went to a midnight premiere.

    Also it's thanks to this movie that lead to the creation of my favorite superhero, so there's that too

    First saw this on DVD several years after it came out. Had always been a fan of the character, but this was the first story I'd experienced about him.

    This feels like it came out in a different world. Not just because it's been 20 years but because of how much stuff changed since Nolan and the MCU.
