I just received a message saying issue #1 was being shipped to me (I bought one of the variants). Was off ebay, so I messaged the seller asking what's going on, not due for release until later this month?

Gonna give some advice on Ebay buying, Yes it's a nice convenience, but they will also send you fakes. In the case like this you'll most likely get an older comic with a print out of the variant....that is all

They replied back saying they just printed out the shipping label in advance. I actually look into info on the sellers I buy from and this one is a longtime comic shop with 100% positive feedback and over 10+ years of selling comics on ebay.

Looks great, but no amount of Goblin goodness will get me to pick up a Peter/MJ break-up issue
Oh man that looks great. Wish they'd have saved it for when the actual (rumored) Hobgoblin story starts. I already pre-ordered the InHyuk Lee variant for #2 with Spider-Man fighting Tombstone on the cover.

Ah so just an advanced so will probably get it by then, but lets see if we get the FCBD issue first on the 2th

considered me intrigued, I was gonna drop it at issue 900 but Hobgoblin is a good sell. and back to the artist that first drew and created him. as much as I don't like JRJR current style, I'm intrigued on how he does Hobby.

That would be in line with Kingsley's M.O. of attacking through others

Has Zeb Wells written any Goblin before, besides QG?

Not exactly sure how to feel about Hobgoblin being used, he's been made redundant since Norman returned and stole some of his traits, but hey, if they remember he's smart and threatening, might be good enough.

And in many respects, this creates a new mystery...is the returning Hobby Roderick, or Ned?

Doubtless it's Ned I feel...especially if they want to connect the books more with the movies after teasing so much of MCU Ned as a potential betrayer

I thought about Ned too. Rose's people are buying a glider for some reason. Richard and Ned are both alive, they may have started working together again.

Was Guggenheim the only one who wrote Menace? I forget.

It's been a while since we've gotten a Hobby story, Norman's probably "on break," so it feels like as good a time as any.

Hobgoblin was always my favorite Goblin, so stoked that he's returning.
