And how can they do one and not have it become outdated within a month or two?

Yeah I have most of them, and they become outdated really fast.

That doesn't make them any less enjoyable or collectable, though.
I still enjoy browsing the original runs, remembering characters I had forgotten about, admiring the art or reflecting back on the pre-Crisis and immediate post-Crisis era.
Who's Who eventually became an iconic series that immortalized all of DC's 50 year history at the time, including the then-current heroes, teams and designs, in a printed time capsule.
