I know Winick's run on Green Arrow gets a lot of grief, but I enjoyed it. For me this is still one of the best displays of Green Arrow's abilities. Love how Deathstroke subtly realizes what has happened to him:

In my opinion, Winick did a great job on Green Arrow! (Forgetting his first arc, Straight Shooter - THAT sucked deluxe).
I thought it was a great idea for Ollie to 'level up' and *ahem* add another string to his bow.

It'd be very easy to give into anger, especially for Superman. For all of Batman's hype and baddassedness, it'd be very easy for Superman to just pop his head right off. But he doesn't. Because he knows that the next day, Batman can do the amazing. And he does. In time, everyday, all of us, even the guy we hate the most, can accomplish wonders.

This is a FANTASTIC story. IMHO, Year One is THE ultimate Frank Miller Batman story.

This is a great run. As well-regarded as it may be, IMHO, it is still underrated.
