    Default Wonder Woman as God(dess) of War - What do you think about it now?

    So, does anyone miss this period? Did you not like it and think it could have been done better? Do you want it back or do you think it's been explored enough? Or did you hate it and hope it never comes back?

    It was all fluff and no filler. Good riddance.

    Terrible idea. It's been done and done much better back in John Byrne's run when WW became the Goddess of Truth. Even Scott Snyder did it much better when Diana ascended to a Goddess status, sank BWL into a sun then gave it up so she can go on adventures again.

    I thought her tour, as Goddess of Truth, was crap. Truth is a power, which Diana weaponizes - a tool - to preserve a world, where love, hope and freedom can flourish. From her ditching Paradise Island, to the first time, she and Etta jumped into a pocket universe, on kangas, ..Wonder Woman has been a spirit of freedom.

    They're ALL spirits of hope...superheroes. All of 'em.

    Not only was it a terrible idea that by its very nature was unsustainable, but there wasnt really much actually done with the concept to make it all memorable as something that ever happened. Considering the comics were quick to forget it ever happened, its probably best to move on

    I think that the way this is phrased sort of ignores what actually took place during the run.
