Unappreciated Characters Appreciation 2022

My top 2 right now

Vagabond: Priscilla Lyons. One of Cap's tagalongs when he was The Captain. Trained as a Scourge...and then turned on them to take them down with U.S. Agent. And not seen hide nor hair since the 1st U.S. Agent limtied in 1991

Demolition Man: Dennis Dunphy. It just seems like every time this guy comes back it is with another kick to the teeth. Died and resurrected multiple times and is currently a vampire.

Speedball belongs to the New Warriors Appreciation thread.

Anyway, the other underrated character I have a soft spot for are American Eagle, Delphyne Gorgon, Quasar (Wendell Vaughn) and Jack Flag.

I'll second everyone mentioned in this thread already (especially D-Man and Nighthawk) and add Quasar, Wendell Vaughn. I know he was in the latest run of GotG, but next to nothing was done with him.

Just last week I finished his Complete Collected TPB. Has all the Ditko work.
I wouldn't recommend it to someone who only gravitates to darker or more "serious" fare.

My point, is relating to Speedball it is amazing at how in his book they were pushing the name Masked Marvel. Speedball, despite being a headlining name on the book, was really a secondary consideration.
Robbie referred to himself as Masked Marvel, the local authorities, the school kids..you name it and within the title he was The Masked Marvel. Now that there is an UNDERAPPRECIATED aspect worth discussing with the character.

I still need to pick up that TPB. I've read the stories from the old Spider-Man annuals and the 90s Marvel Superheroes book, but not his original series.

Another underappreciated character whose TPB I need to pick up is the Tigra complete collection. I don't understand how Tigra doesn't appear more. I want to know what's going on with her son.
