Cain knocked out/killed guards. (There probably not dead)

Cain and Deadpool escape. quicksand is dead and primus is broken

In setting a new record for fastest time to fail x-force, Betsy, Xavier, Emma, Sinister, logan, and the entire island it beaten in 24 MINUTES. (The issue has a time counter it is really that fast).

Xavier contacts Cain. "don't worry the island won't kill you if you land"
Cain "I see" Immediately crashes plain into island.

The island then tries to kill them, or its human adapoid? I can't tell.


So how long until X force beats that time to fail ?

X-Force is the CIA, no? Not island security per se. I know between Black Tom and Sage they are supposed to be monitoring for threats (and failing spectacularly at that), but the purpose of the CIA is to deal with external threats. Not internals ones or even a breach of sovereign borders.

But, yeah, the mutants of Krakoa and whoever’s responsible for island security is not great at their job. Their omega telepaths are all but useless in this regard, and their Great Captains too. Huge failures all around.

Isn’t the island’s security run by Black Tom and Sage who are both part of X-Force?

I wouldn't mind seeing occasional examples of them easily stopping threats specifically to the island. It would make the failures in security more interesting and the villains more imposing since they were strong enough to get through the defenses.

no it wouldn't because one of two things would happen. Either the mutants chosen to be the defense squad would not be strong enough to stop the attack (which fans would complain why were those mutants chosen to defend Krakoa in the first place) or the mutants chosen are too powerful ( which would result in fans complaining about how said villain was able to beat those mutants)

Fair point, though we're already complaining anyway. I'm not sure of a satisfactory way to solve this that would be interesting long-term.
