I could see him doing well with a less mainstream "superhero" choice. Daughters of the Dragon or Shang-Chi would be my pick.

I would want to see him do something completly against the grain , prove to me he can mix it up.
All of his films have been the same kind of thing , so lets give , The Power Pack..

Same kind of thing? You mean action? He can do good drama.

Moon Knight, Deadly Hands of Kung Fu or Heroes for Hire.

I think if he really wanted to do the job, Tarantino could tone himself down but the question is if he is a big enough fan of the property to even try.

I could see him doing a Power Man & Iron Fist or a Shang Chi movie.

If Tarantino directed a Marvel movie I would avoid watching it as long as possible. His movies have of late become caricatures of themselves. He has, in my opinion, reached a point where he no longer simply makes a movie, but clearly tries to make a Tarantino-esque movie, which stinks.

If he did a Marvel Movie and proved he could do it without racial slurs, or masochism--it would be awesome. And then he would realize he doesn't need those things to make a good movie.

i would also like to see his audiences reaction--it would be a good gauge to see if they (his fans) were enamored with his work, or fans of his naughtier proclivities.

Yep given his 70's fetish and overall sensibilities, the first thought that entered my head was a Power Man/Iron Fist movie, set in the 70's...or even today with a 70's pastiche. Failing that...I think he'd love to do something sexy and weird like Satana, or Black Cat.

Oh, he's a comics fan. Check out Reservoir Dogs. In Tim Roth's apt there's a clear shot of a Silver Surfer poster and in one scene he makes a point of comparing one of the criminals to the Thing. In True Romance, the lead character works in a comic book store. Tarantino did some script doctor work on Crimson Tide, he added some dialogue where a couple of guys are talking about the Silver Surfer.

He won't do a pre-existing character cuz he said he didn't want to deal with fan criticism.

The Punisher! That seems right up his alley.
