Default How Do Alien Planets View Earth In The DC Universe?

There's a line in Geoff Johns Green Lantern.

"I hear they never never leave their home planet. They're born there and they're buried there"

    "Total backwater star system"

"Is it true Kilowog? Is this Green Lantern an Earthman?"

    "Worse, he's an American"

Alien races looking down on Earth is a common trope in science fiction. While Earth is certainly less advanced than the alien planets we see in the more Sci-fi oriented DC Comics, the fact that the universe has been saved hundreds of times by superheroes such as Superman as well as the greatest Green Lantern is considered to be Hal Jordan, an Earthman, it would make more sense that Earth was revered by other races.

They roll up their windows and lock their doors as they go by. Earth's one claim to fame is their phenomenal solar eclipses due to their fortunate relative sizes of sun and moon.

A backwater berg with way too much firepower. Primitives with enough weapons and metas to not just destroy themselves but to be a huge threat to a lot of space sectors.

Thinking of Superman and Supergirl/Power Girl, etc. I'd say person from Earth. But to the actual point of your question, I don't have a number, but certainly enough for a thank you note.

Probably a quirky planet, strange due to its combination of civilizational backwardness and superhero might, that always gets involved in universal threats and controversies.

...I guess how Europeans view the US?
