The peak of my young fandom ( age 14 been reading since I was around 7 ) and aside from the JLGL style guide, what the DCU still looks like in my head.

Yeah I loved so many eras over the years. Honestly from 1985 to 2006 was just an amazing time in my mind to read DC comics. Even with the ups and downs here and there I loved so much throughout those years. After 2006 it lost something for me and at 2011 PUFF! I was pretty done.

That all being said If I had to choose one image it would be this one. But you guys all picked some amazing images.

In terms of the thing that first exposed me to the most characters, besides just the Superman and Batman families, I think it was the Topps Comic Book Foldees which were on sale in 1966--before I even started buying my own comics. I saw so many characters I didn't know about for the first time in those wonderful cards.

Never saw them before, Jim, but I wish they had been around during the '70s.
