I kinda like how the x-men books have a role of not introducing any new mutants currently and just giving focus to older mutants tht didn't get a lot of shine in the past. I wouldn't mind all comic books taking this approach.

This cover makes me feel slightly ill. I was never the biggest fan of Gotham Girl, but goodness, I didn't think I needed a "punk" or "edgy" version.

She looks more retro/mod than punk to me




The buzzcut was from her last arc, it was cool but even then it didn't fit with her old costume.

Clotheswise I'd agree, but her haircut went from buzz to punk gelled. That's more what makes me annoyed.

So the kryptonite girl makes a return. Wonder if she will meet the new Superman and Damian sometime. Also wonder if Damian blames her for Alfred or something still. Funny enough this also brings to mind how she brutally took down Atom who has now been twice beaten to almost death by superpowered teen girls. The next encounter might be his last.

It didn't turn her into a Kryptonian genetically. But it did stabilise her powers so that she no longer shortens her lifespan when she uses them - which is what killed her brother. Her powers are pretty much the same as Superman's. She should meet Supergirl. Who better to help her out than another girl a similar age (Kara is 21) with the same powers?
