The art looks good, but I feel like he needs a more distinct suit from Bruce.

What about the black and red one from Batman Beyond?

^ Just made a similar comment/question on the Jace thread.

^^ Yeah the FS suit is a good look. Wouldn't mind the current one with some tweaks including getting rid of the cape.

^^^ That could work as a color scheme (not capability wise) but with a mask that shows his face/jaw.

The character in the first panel gave me Professor Pyg vibes. I guess Jace meets his first crazy killer.

I liked NYC Mayor wanting to deputize Jace but I doubt he'll accept.

What If Batman was in the Marvel Universe?

Already got his first serial killer Supervillain.

Stan Lee beat you to it. But Black and Grey Daredevil would be a welcome addition.

Solid issue, while it is still early the move to New York set up a completely a fresh start for Jace that offers it the opportunity to distinguish his Batman from Bruce in Gotham by creating a new dynamic in the relationships between Batman, the Mayor and the Police Commissioner.

Glad Ridley found a believable way to bring to New York some of the characters that may have been lost with the move to New York.

Yeah I really liked this issue, I also thought it was interesting that this is literally the first time we’ve seen present day Vol not behind a screen.

I thought it was a lot of fun. NY gave Jace and Ridley a shot in the arm.

Great issue. Really feels like this should’ve been a new number one though. And I hope Lashley is here to stay, I really love how powerful he draws Jace. This really feels like a new fresh take that can give Jace his time to shine. I’m all abroad.

Bought #6 and really enjoyed it. I’m on board. Hope it stays focused on crime at the street level. And that Jace doesn’t end up having a plane, submarine, a suit for fighting in Apokolips, gadgets to deal with every imaginable scenario, etc.
