Batman being the lone survivor of the Trinity? How original.

I like that John is just so not bothered by Zatanna being a vampire, I mean he might secretly be if she tries to kill people but it’s interesting that Constantine is just like “I deal with Demons and Dark Magic all the time, why do I care if you’re a vampire”

Okay, so Lasso of Truth...utterly useless.

    John Constantine..."Meh, vampires. Whatever."

    Christ, this comic sucks.

wouldn't Superman be pretty weak as a vampire? I mean his power comes from Sunlight.

Are DC vampires not affected by sunlight anymore?

Actually, now that you mention it... Crucifer claimed he couldn't turn Superman for that very reason. Crucifer claimed Superman's blood was like liquid sunlight, and that was AFTER he'd enthralled Superman to be his pawn.

Now that I think about it why would evil Vamptanna take Constantine to his own house where he would have magic defenses to counter her? she didn't even try to disable him with her own magic. I thought the vamps were supposed to be hypercompetent.

Of course Constantine gets the drop on vampire Zatanna...seems like this is the kind of book where all the favorite "underdogs" or street-level characters get to take out the big guns as vampires.

I think there's more to it. Since she seemed surprised he didn't kill her, maybe there's enough human left that she was hoping he'd take her out.

That or Constantine is going to Constantine.

Would like a story where Batman or Constantine are actually written as underdogs.

Hope the "vampire king" isn't the most obvious choice. No need to make that guy the big behind the scenes manipulator every single time. Just let him keep chasing his equations in peace for once.

So you’re saying Hal may just mind whammy him instead of turning him?

Yeah, I hope it's someone different.
