Honestly, I find him to be a very compelling READ, so I'd argue against him being perma-killed.
Him as this horrific foil to so many characters is entertaining, while also enraging. I'm desperate for some confrontations!

At this point, Beast did something worse than Scarlet Witch wiping out 90% of mutants populations by casting the spell "No More Mutants". Beast has the worst characters assassinate than HOM Wanda.

Is anyone curious how they use Dark Beast in X-men 92's version of Krakoa ? I haven't read the whole run, just the "special gala", but he seems to take Hank's place easily there. Maybe it's a hint.

I think they were just throwing shade at Percy's run, but it could be a hint. I've read the House Of XCII run, and Hank is killed and brought back, inexplicably with Dark Beast's gray fur and hair decs. No one thinks this is odd, he starts doing evil things, and in the last issue Xavier says to him "We'll talk about your lapse of morals later, Hank". And that's it, at least from what I read.

But yeah, he switched to grey with locks and trinckets and NOBODY is questioning it it's WEIRD.

He died on Polamacus it had the same effect on resurrections as Otherworld.
