I think the simplest solution is for Hank to die and they find out his mind backup was mixed with Dark Beast (since they're technically the same person) which would explain away the way he's acted. They do a big thing to separate them and our Hank is back.. but the only way to bring him back is to also break Dark Beast back... fun and chaos ensues!

I really like this idea. His portrayal in the current X-Force is just so wrong it needs to be undone asap.

Yeah they tried to make him Amanda Waller but Waller is at least sometimes likable. Logan should have let Kraven turn him into a rug.

Yes it would and it would be great to have him back to this personality and look. I really would love it revealed that the current Beast is really the Dark Beast. Have Hank restored then leave Krakoa and then immediately re-join the Avengers.

Hank seems to be more fun when he's in any book but an X book. And I'm really hoping you're right about him actually being Dark Beast, it's the only way I feel to salvage his character at this point.

Unfortunately I agree. They've just taken it all too far with Hank over the past 10 years or so. If it hasn't all been because it's really been Dark Beast, I'm going to be really angry. His sliding further and further into Mr. Sinister territory is getting ridiculous.

I hope at one point the old Beast is brought back. Ruining the character is so pointless if they will not finally address a reason for it. I personally would prefer a Sublime-infection. Here Comes Tomorrow comes to mind, so this could also have happened in current timeline.

I find it so strange that not of his friends seem to care...Jean punched him in the face but maybe he needs some care-bear telepathy session with her instead...
