Beast and Dark beast are one in the same. We just have the privilege now to see his descent in 616.

Sad to hear what's being done to poor Hank. Hopefully, he'll return to his old-self someday...

Yeah...and I am now remembering why I wasn't too thrilled at this purchase. (It was some kind of 75% sale and I got the Masterworks for @$20.)
I like Gerry Conway's writing. Not a problem. I think it's when Englehart takes over and turns it into a "Find Your Fate" style writing in the narration. Meh.

Damn that knocks the original Kane cover out of the water. Nice!

Jim Lee for the win on anything X-related, especially Hank.
    With Byrne a close second.
    Maybe Madureira too.
(I actually have it opposite for Sasquatch between Byrne and Lee. I only acknowledge their renditions as suitable, nobody else comes close.)

Do not know the artist, but I do like this rendition of Beast with other Marvel powerhouses here:

Even if I do not like the direction the character has gone in, I do like Beast's current 'gorilla' form.
