    Default Bioshock movie

Apparently Netflix is developing a Bioshock movie (The Gore Verbinski one has been dropped). The video game series, in part, deals with a character who finds himself in a bizarre city that's kind of a dystopia-the underwater Rapture, and later the floating Columbia in the third game, Infinite (Infinite's DLC attempted to link the two). although the games are mainly shooters there's also powers that can be used. The games are also well known for their story twists, and not quite subtle political/social commentary.

I think Infinite is easier to adapt because Booker has a more defined character than Jack who is just a cipher. But a flying city is probably as a complicated as a sunken city. Plus there's also time travel so who knows.

Let's see if it actually happens this time.
