Default What does copaganda mean to you?

Copaganda seems to mean different things to different people. Examples that come to mind are:

    - Depicting the police in a completely sanitized light with few, if any flaws.

    - Glorifying everything the police do, including police brutality and harassment.

    - Depicting the police as helpful in any manner.

    - Just having the police around at all.

So I thought I'd see what individual members on this forum count as copaganda.

    1 and 2, but not 3 or 4.

So, I guess it's not the hottest spot north of Havana?

Never heard the term before, and who are you referring to as "subreddit"?

I have heard the term a lot. In prison any time someone said something nice about a cop or CO they got called out for Copaganda.

I support the police and am glad they are around (An odd view for a felon) But I very much know they and the system have their flaws.

The first 2 while 3 and 4 seem like a parody of Copaganda.

As a media studies major, Copaganda really only has value in that field. If I finally decide to do a Masters degree, Copaganda would have some real use in my life

I thought it meant you stared at somebody whom you wanted to squeeze but you looked instead of touched.

The TV show 'Blue Bloods' is an excellent example of copaganda.
