An underrated gem in the Bat-Mythos; a former marine with a injured leg with a history with Barbara Gordon. Pre-Flashpoint, it was interesting how they were setting him as Batman's investigator during broad daylight.

When Batgirl's back-up feature in Detective Comics ended in 1972 (after Barbara Gordon was elected to the U.S. Congress), Jason Bard was one of the rotating characters who took over the spot starting in Detective Comics #425 (July 1972).

Also, kind of worth mentioning that actor Ethan Kai who was spotted filming a date scene with Leslie Grace's Babs for the upcoming Batgirl movie is very likely playing Jason.
