. . . My motivation behind this was that so many cover images are static (like portraits) and/or slow moving and/or moving without direction or purpose.

I wanted to see more covers that drew you into the action and that were exciting.

Well, how about something "static" and "slow moving" where a fight breaks out?

Going with Jim Cheung's recreation of Jack Kirby' FF annual #3 cover as part of the Fantastic Four's 60th anniversary tribute issue last year.

but when I first bought/read the story with Reed and Sue's wedding reprinted, this was the cover of that issue:

The first cover with Hulk getting dogpiled by virtually the entire U.S. Military. The jets, tanks, and rifles assure this one his high energy & action.

Nxo1A because I am a huge sucker for the crossovers. And I remember when this came out. One of the guys on the morning radio show I listened to was wild for this. made me happy
