Nice to hear her again and to hear Mae Whitman. She gave a good speech even if it's weird that she called Gar a "mentor" when he's like the same age as she is (or younger? I forget).

The Law of Donna Troy: Donna's story must always be proportionally more convoluted than any other WW or Titans character.

Idk, I like Ares being her crazy uncle.

My left field suggestion for Cassie's father would be Apollo.

Apollo, Most widely revered of the Greek gods. He communicated the will of his father Zeus, made humans aware of their guilt and purified them of it, presided over religious and civil law, and foretold the future. His bow symbolized distance, death, terror, and awe; his lyre symbolized music, poetry, and dance. As a patron of the arts, he was often associated with the Muses. He was also a god of crops and herds. He became associated with the sun, and was even identified with Helios, the sun god. Also associated with healing, he was the father of Asclepius. By tradition, Apollo and his twin, Artemis, were born at Delos to Leto. ApolloÂ’s oracle was established at Delphi; the Pythian Games commemorated his killing (while still an infant) of the serpent Python to take the shrine. His many lovers fared poorly: the fleeing Daphne became a laurel tree; the unfaithful Coronis was shot by Artemis, and Cassandra, who rejected him, was doomed to utter true prophecies no one would believe.

He is Ares brother which makes the latter literally Cassie's uncle who is trying to look out for her. He is the twin brother of Artemis which gives Cassie a tertiary connection to Diana.

Cassie has always been more radiant as a character which ties in well with how Apollo is associated with the sun. It also visually sets in contrast with Donna Troy whose starfield costume evokes the night time sky while Cassie's blonde hair and bright coloured outfits always evoked day time themes. If you want to visually connect them even further, Artemis also wields the bow of Ra (who is the sun god).

The dual nature of his representing the art, poetry and dance while also being a symbol of terror not to mention prophecy, healing and tragic romantic life could open up new story lines and unique abilities for Cassie (healing, prophecy, will of Zeus, bow of Apollo vs bow of Ra) .

Plus, one of the few good things about the Nu52 was the Cliff Chiang's new design for Apollo along with Azzarello's more machivilliean take on his personality:

Agreed. Especially since they came into the business around the same time. They really trying to prop up Gar more than he needs to be.

I'd rather see more of Cassie leading the Outsiders than dealing with Beast Boy's drama.

I would be down for that, certainly could give Cassie some interesting power development potential.

That's a really good look. Quite a distinctive personality. I just think it has kind of a Conner Kent vibe though
