DC is doing a Black Label Peacemaker series that seems to be based on the show's version of the character, hopefully Vigilante shows up in that.
After re-reading this old thread, I'm sticking with my preference that the new Vigilante still be named "Adrian Chase" but after some time, we'll find out he's just a young sociopath (an anonymous nobody with an unremarkable past) who became obsessed with the original - given the sliding timeline, it could have been when he was originally operating - and reinvented himself by adopting his civilian as well as vigilante name after he died. And then he transferred his attachment issues from the original Adrian to Peacemaker, which is why he's so focused on wanting to be his bestie.
