The outfit is good, but I am really wondering what the background will be. Got to be something new, I would think.

I'm still hoping this turns into a trilogy with Batman introduced in the third film. I know I'm more likely to be struck by lightning, but a fan can dream...

I like how the umbrellas kinda look like Batwings. (Rorschach test, much?)

If they do introduce a Batman, I reeeeaaalllly hope we only see him through Joker's eyes. People at this point know exactly who Batman is and what he's supposed to be, so the film won't have to explain that this is a warped version of him from J's pov. (it could be fun if, despite being "The Dark Knight," Joker sees him as bright and colorful - a bright shiny hero (compared to his own darkness) and unlike other criminals - doesn't fear him. He's the only one who sees something else - something wonderful and fascinating. Hmm, I'm getting too into this idea - which means it'll never happen)

Batman is showing up in a Batman movie, two in fact The Batman 2 and The Brave and the Bold. A fan can want Batman in a Batman movie and a Joker movie.
I don't want a COIE movie. I'm not even interested in the upcoming animated version, not at all.

If Todd can make this simply as good as the first (he doesn't need to top the first), then I will be floored and Todd will be hailed a genius by me. Even if he comes close to the first, I will be most impressed probably.

Few were more shocked than I that the first film worked as well as it did. A Taxi Driver/King of Comedy riff that still managed to feel fresh and be an effective film (due a great deal to Phoenix's performance).

Interesting. Guesses/hopes for the cover songs? I don't know anything about Todd Philips's musical tastes, but I'm going to hope he's more creative than songs like "Crazy" or "Crazy For You." Gaga can sing anything, and we know Pheonix can do a mean Johnny Cash.... so....?
