Solicitations make it sound like it's all in the pit.

Doesn't sound anything like what the pit was described, but then I'm pretty sure the petals worked as a cancer cure before X Deaths.

That Nauk headshot variant cover of Sabes is probably my favorite of all the headshots he’s done. Makes Victor look so menacing as he was meant to look. I need that in a poster.

Yep. But they have done cheap stuff like this twice now.

We get solicits for issue 1. The issue gets pushed back a month, then in the following month's solicits, they give of the solicit of Sabretooth 1 again. Rather than just not bother if it's not new info.

Premature hype is a common comic book problem that doesn't need to cause undue stress. Estimates vary, but as many as one out of three comic books could be said to experience this problem at some point. It doesn't mean that this book can't still enjoy a long and mutually satisfying relationship with its readers, but Marvel should definitely consult a physician if the problem persists.

People said the same stuff about Hellions when that roster was announced. I have a lot a trust in LaValle and, judging by what I know of these characters, these choices are definitely intentional.

That's the biggest lesson I've learned with comics. It's not about what characters are on the team but who is the writer on the book.
