I know it's unlikely, but does anyone here own these editions of the Sin City trades from 2004?

If so, how are they, quality-wise? I REALLY like the covers and they are pretty affordable through the Amazon Marketplace. Should I get these? I don't really want to take the plunge with that Big Damn Sin City book, mostly because I want something a little more comfortable to read.

Also, I think those are actually the original trades from the 90s.
That's what I figured you were talking about. I had the whole collection at one time and they're great. I bought them used (so they'd been read) and read them myself a few times before putting them up on Ebay.
You won't be disappointed.
If you don't like the new OHC - and yes it is freakin' big - then you could try to get the OHC Library Edition sets (there's 2 volumes worth. They used to go on Ebay for as much as $200 each (cover price $99), but I imagine they're going to drop in value now that the OHC is out.
Awesome news on those new library editions.
Geez I wish dark horse had the bloody brains to cash in on their Star wars license publishing some awesome OHCs. Wallies...
You don't think they considered it?. Obviously they thought they would make more money producing the little digest Omnibus.
I like the paperbacks and have most of them but it's very irritating having artwork smaller than the original comics. I guess eventually we'll get some rip-off $150 Marvel Omni of the content.
