Liking mine so far. The book is a hell of a deal at $27.99 US. The first story is really emotional and hits you pretty hard. It's a bit of a prologue though. Then they get into the meat of the story and it's already got me asking a ton of questions. You've got to like Kindt's style though. It's very surreal/cartoony and I believe he does all his own lettering. To me, it makes every page look like a work of art. If you enjoy it, or get past it, he's great at weaving a mystery tale. He keeps lots of threads going and then ties them in nicely. He also doesn't hold your hand and sometimes you need someone to discuss the work with. Think the movie Memento.
I think Pistolwhip is an older work by him, so I'm not sure if it will show in terms of his writing/drawing skills. I have read all 4 of the available hardcovers of Mind MGMT and love it though. I believe it's his magnum opus (so far at least). He uses beautiful watercolors and every bit of every page contains little tidbits to help engross you in the story.
