I'll probably buy this simply because I want to encourage them to release the second series in hardcover as well. I absolutely loved Den Beauvais artwork on it. Outstanding stuff.
I had the exact same question...wondering if it's good

Dust on Hellboy LE can easily be removed with a adheseve lint roller (as used on clothes)

Just finished The Goon LE in 2 days. Buy this. I'm not even going to explain it. just buy it, and treasure it.

I kid you not! The mythology gets richer, the art gets better and The Goon gets punchier!

    Agree completely!

Even Eric Powell himself admitted that the first issues were rough. Hence the early trade being called 'Rough Stuff'.
The Goon books are brilliant and I'm so glad they're getting the oversized treasure treatment!

Chinatown dude, Chinatown! with that volume (6) I think the series finally reached it's full potential where you get equal amount of eye knifing with serious heartbreaks.

This book was a complete blind buy and I loved it. Like you, it took me two days to complete. I will definitely get Volume 2

Yeah, Powell talks about it in the LE introduction. And you can see that it was rough but really gets better with each arc. And, really, the rough stuff wasn't that bad!

I've read the first 200 pages of The Goon Library... I'm having so much fun! It is an incredible series. I can compare it just to Chew
