    Default Full Stop

I was reading the latest article wherever about Kang, and how we'll see different 'variants' of him in the MCU. That's fine.

But it got me to thinking. The full thrust of a certain part of Kang's story is how he is descended from

    Reed Richards. How patrilinear!

Isn't he also descended from... the Invisible Woman?

    or Franklin?

Or some others we'd never think about.

Like what if in a future generation, a son of Black Panther marries or otherwise has a child with

    Reed and Sue's daughter, Valeria.

Then Kang is descended from Richards *and* T'Challa's lines.

Since in one or more alternate 'verses, a version of Franklin marries a version of Rachael Summers.

So maybe Kang could be descended from Summers TOO.

Since most Kang's are variants of each other, this is all way too possible.

But we only waste time on the Reed/Kang variation.

Kang's seemingly first appearance is in the old FF as Rama Tut, and he kidnaps his

many times removed grandmother, to marry her!

    Talk about an Oedipal complex.

You got it all wrong. Kang is not supposed to be a descendant of Reed Richards but of Nathaniel Richards, Reed's father. Reed is a relative, but not his direct ancestor. And Sue is not his grand-grand-something mother, that would be whoever woman Nathaniel left pregnant (and who likely wasn't Reed's mother).
