Garth, also known as Tempest, was the first Aqualad and the former protégé of Aquaman. He was a founding member of the Teen Titans and later the Titans.
He will hopefully appear as a reoccurring character in Aquamen, hopefully 2022 is a better year than 2021!

It's shameful that he is more or less just tossed aside, especially given that he grew up to be different enough from his mentor to add a different feel to their teamups and book.
