Just binged watched the first 8 episodes. Was kind of surprised at how interested I became in it.

Poor Harvey
So Duela has developed a bit of an attachment to Turner.
Could Stephanie and Harper ever happen? Or is Harper just doomed in romance?
Turner and Duela are going to elope and honeymoon in Metropolis.
Show of hands now, who didn't see it coming that Mommy March was going to pull an evil cliche and take care of Brody?
Also, Brody is now likely to be their new Talon. That is my guess.
Mom, I'm Robin. Lets see how that picks back up.
Turner and Duela was telegraphed last episode hard. They went ahead and got them there since who knows if there will be a next season. Probably not.
Stephanie, watch your back.
Three episodes to go.
"Freedom is the right of all sentient beings" - Optimus Prime
Harvey Dent's storyline has been the most fun in this show. I liked that they used Harvey's bad side as his protector against his father and later the Court. It's an aspect that usually doesn't get play much in adaptations since they usually make it his repressed anger or just a generic evil self.

3 to go and the hope for the heroes to be suited up will likely be in the (series?) finale.
The destruction of Harvey Dent and the birth of Two-Face.
is Harper being specifically called "Bluebird" the first instance where one of the main characters is called by their comics codename on the show?
So Dent is Duela's father? I mean, her mom is a bit crazy and yeah, Dent(Dark Dent) may have slept with her but I don't take "Jane Doe" at her word. She is manipulative and crazy, why would this be any different.
Not enough of Carrie this episode, Grounded or not.
*Yawn*, Stephanie....so the great writers staff sees a need to pair up as many of the main cast as they can despite this being out of character for printed page Stephanie.
Arthur Brown goes to prison, maybe. If this show got a S2 by some really weird way could that be his turn into the Cluemaster persona?
Turner with the douche bag persona in full regalia for this episode up until the very end.
Two episodes to go.
"Freedom is the right of all sentient beings" - Optimus Prime
According to the showrunner, this version of Stephanie Brown is a lesbian.
I don't recall if anyone actually calls Carrie Robin, though Harvey asked Duela if she's truly Joker's Daughter.

I respect the author relating to Stephanie growing up but taking an established character and making them more like you, even for the sake of diversity, just feels a bit too...fan ficcy? And not even make her Bi like Tim did so as to not invalidate his relationship with Steph (supposedly) but make her hard gay?
I'm surprised DC signed off on this but that might be because they don't really care.
I mean it saves what would have likely been a Hayes/Duela/Stephanie angsty triangle because CW.... so..........yay...?
