Actually the writer had stated that this team is not a rotating one. And he personally requested Cloak and Dagger for the team.

To me those two actors will always be Tandy and Ty! The fact that we even got two seasons is something I'd never thought we'd ever get. I'd love for them to come back to voice a cartoon. They were great in that spider man episode.

I really hate the idea of Conan being in the 616 and on an Avengers team. But with Cloak & Dagger being part of this I might have to check it out. Maybe. But it also has that stupid Hulk Weapon X mash up character. Bleh.

I've only read Red Sonja books, so I'm new to Conan, so I'm fine with him being in the 616 world. I am not a huge fan of Weapon H, however. But I can look past both those things to support Cloak and Dagger. The more fans that buy this for them, the better.

3 Weeks till Savage Avengers! The writer told me over Twitter and he just looked at some lettering for a cool scene with Cloak and Dagger. I really can't wait!!!

I will say this about this book...at least they are not taking characters who are in multiple books per month already.

I just can't take any comic with Conan in the Marvel Universe seriously.

I read the entire run of volume one and.....it is hard. Even within a world in which one is already suspending a lot of disbelief.
Conan, in the present day just doesn't feel as natural as one would want and I think that is because as a licensed property he still has to adhere to feeling like the novel character.

Take Aric, the X-O Manowar, from Valiant Comics into comparison. Aric is a 6th Century A.D. Visigoth brought forward in time. He acquires a high tech suit of armor and seeks revenge and justice in any way he can rationalize it for the first years of his run. However, Aric, with some help from his armor, adapts and shows growth into the modern world in which he now resides. Valiant can do this, grow and evolve the character in ways I highly suspect Marvel just can't do with Conan. Therefore Conan in the present just feels waaaaayyyyy to fish out of water for long periods of time which is what Savage Avengers is basically.
