This plus the SM2099 Omnibus for October is great news for Miguel fans!

I'm still waiting for the sixth and final Complete Collection of Spider-Man 2099. I've got everything up to Spider-Man 2099 vs. Venom 2099, which is technically Vol. 5 of those collections.
The spider is always on the hunt.

    Same

I’m hoping it includes 2099 world of tomorrow 1-8 as I think there’s not much left of SM2099 left to fill a whole trade.

It still stands as one of my favourite runs of all time and the movie will no doubt give him a boost in popularity again.

As for new series/mini, I’m happy that he’s actually in 2099 at last and loving the Stegman covers.

The Spencer stuff was just weird and nonsense, David’s recent run was ok but hated the art and present time setting.

If it’s the original (or even a split off timeline version of the original) I’m in. If it’s a reimagining or the new version, I’m out.

I did enjoy Miguel in the present, but I HATED that new costume he had. Why mess with one of the best costumes ever?

Couldn't agree more. OG Miggy is the G.O.A.T. (XD)

Its costume roulette like that that makes us really appreciate the original that much more. Am I right?
    Usually regardless of the character.
Although I do hold a soft spot for that 90s Armored DD costume I must confess.

Technically, Kris Anka designed that suit. It does look better under different artists, though, especially in Insomniac Games' rendition for Spider-Man on PS4/5. That said, I think it would have looked a lot better if it'd kept the strictly black-and-red option from Anka's concept art instead of incorporating any white. In a nutshell, I liked the advanced high-tech features of the present-day 2099 costume, but if it'd kept the black (or dark blue)-and-red color scheme from the original 2099 costume, it'd be much better to me.

Miguel looks weird without a cape.

I can't think of a single thing to improve the original costume.

He did have Batman Beyond-style retractable web-wings, if that helps at all.

Not quite the same as his original cape, unfortunately.
