First thing that came to mind when I saw this image. I know that they could never come up with a design as good as the original George Perez on (which, IMHO, was genius), but more and more they are giving us designs that don't make us think of a Cyborg, but of a Metal Man or a Robotman, or an Iron Man. A Cyborg needs to show us some flesh, some organics, as well as the technological parts. Even as simple armors go, that is a very plain design.

Williamson created Avery. Her origin happened in his Flash run along with another speedster named Fast Track (Meena Dhawan, who was just adapted in the TV show). When the Fast Track arc ended, Avery was picked up by New Super-Man's writer Gene Luen Yang, becoming the fourth member, and functionally the Sixth Ranger, of the JLC team. When New Super-Man ended, Williamson brought Avery back to The Flash, using her as a second sidekick alongside Wallace West. Then when Barry went missing at the end of Williamson's Infinite Frontier mini, Avery replaced him in Justice League Incarnate.

Maybe he used Baixi as a way to belatedly thank Yang for using Avery? She'd have probably not got where she is now without New Super-Man. And he might have figured that Batman Inc was an ideal way to reintroduce him since it involves international Bat-Men.

Williamson trying to be good guy and messing up continuity in the process, sounds likely.

I honestly didn't like it much. I loved that it was a more advanced tech, that allowed Vic to look human when he wanted to (a human cloned body with Alien tech, if I'm not mistaken). I've always had a soft spot for those heroes whose abilities prevented them from passing unnoticed among humans, such as Vic and the Thing. Always wanted them to find happiness. That said, I prefer the silver look.

As it turns out the Flash tie-in is required reading for this event. I mean I’m sure issue 4 will sum it up but basically today’s issue involves showing how Barry escaped the dream world, him going off to rescue the Justice League, and the Flash family learning the Justice League is alive and well.

Flash was good, nothing out of the ordinary. I felt like it was easy to free Barry and the family didn't do anything to help, really, they were there to pad the story. But at least we get to see them in action, something that i being missing.

Young Justice was better than the last issue, but still not good.
The conflict between Conner and Bart is so dumb and it baffles me that the trio took this long to realize that this universe is fake.

Next issue they will fight the LJA and the Titans, can't wait to see to watch what jabs the writer will throw at these characters.
DC: Dick Grayson, Wally West, Donna Troy, Yara Flor, Titans

Some of my favorite Mangas: One Piece, Slam Dunk, Fullmetal Alchemist, HunterXHunter, Vinland Saga, Monster, Berserk, Vagabond.
Current reading: Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man, Spy X Family, Kaiju Nº8, Blue Lock, Dandadan.

Impulse knew it was fake the whole time, Tim suspected but didn't want to act and Kon fell for it(makes sense, he suffered the most out of everyone). Kon being an ass to Bart was painful to watch.

The writer is playing into fan assumptions about Bart here (a lot of people see him as a funny guy with no depth) while showing he's far more perceptive (which he always was).

He won't destroy Earth zero. But I won't be surprised if his effort to bring back Multiversity 2 succeeds. Pure speculation on my part here; but it won't surprise me if this ends with Jon's Justice League sacrificing themselves to restore it.

I expect it's the dude that permanently dies saving the infinite Multiverse. Probably Barry.

No that’s not happening lol. They’re not ending the big event all about legacy by killing a bunch of major legacy characters. Williamson didn’t even have the balls to kill Beast Boy.

There's literally zero reasons to kill them (and cause a huge uprorar among the fans) when they can just put them on an alternate earth and forget they exist. Which may even not happen - it all depends on possible future plans for these characters on TV or in movies.
Educational town, Rolemodel city and Moralofthestory land are the places where good comics go to die.

DC writers and editors looked up and shouted "Save us!"
And Alan Moore looked down and whispered "No."

I'm kinda surprised Snyder didn't want Superman to watch Lois and Bruce conceive their love child. All the while singing the "Na na na na na na Batman!" theme song - Robotman, 03/06/2021

Don't even need an alternate earth for that, plenty of charactets are ignored on main continuity as well

Yes, but I am under the impression that many longtime readers are more open to the concept "these characters still exist to a degree, they are just on a different world" rather than "these characters have been erased from continuity" or "these characters are killed in battle". It's just PR, because the consequences are more or less the same in all three cases - I mean, does anyone really expect New 52-Earth or 1985-Earth or whatever it was called to come back anytime soon if not for a couple of variant covers or maybe - MAYBE - a single panel in some continuity-twisting event?
